DNPA Code of Ethics

Purpose

At TrendMints, we are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in every part of our work. This policy ensures that all team members act with integrity, follow all applicable laws and regulations, and avoid any actions that may be influenced by personal gain.

Gifts, Favors, and Payments Provided

Any gifts, favors, or payments given by TrendMints must follow accepted business practices. They must be of low value, legal, and appropriate for public disclosure without causing embarrassment to the company.

Payments, commissions, or compensation to associates of customers are not allowed unless a formal written contract is in place.

Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments Received

Team members must not request or accept gifts, favors, entertainment, or payments unless there is a clear and legitimate business purpose. This is especially important when engaging with individuals or organizations that do business with TrendMints or seek to do so.

Some exceptions may include simple business courtesies or low-value gifts. However, strict guidelines apply, especially when dealing with suppliers.

Conflicts of Interest

All associates must avoid situations where personal interests might conflict with the interests of TrendMints. Any potential or actual conflict must be reported to a manager immediately.

Conflicts may include:

  • Ownership or investment in a company that works with or competes with TrendMints
  • Serving in any role for a competing company
  • Any situation where personal gain could influence business decisions

Confidential Information

TrendMints strictly prohibits the unauthorized sharing or use of confidential information. Any misuse of private, sensitive, or internal company data will result in disciplinary action, which may include termination.

Compliance

Any violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action. Team members are required to report any violations they witness or become aware of.

Social Media Guidelines

Introduction

Content shared on social media should always reflect good judgment. Posts made publicly have long-term impact and should align with TrendMints values.

Every team member is responsible for understanding and following all company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Be Careful What You Post

Associates are responsible for their own behavior online. Inappropriate, offensive, or unprofessional content may lead to disciplinary action or termination.

If referencing TrendMints, team members should make it clear they are sharing personal opinions and not official company statements.

Be Respectful and Professional

All communications, including comments and posts, should remain courteous and professional. Avoid content that could be interpreted as harassing, offensive, discriminatory, or threatening.

Respect the privacy of others and avoid spreading misinformation.

Be Honest and Accurate

Accuracy is essential. If incorrect information is posted, it should be corrected as soon as possible. Team members must be transparent when editing or updating previously published content.

Respect Laws and Confidentiality

Team members must follow all legal requirements, including copyright and privacy laws. Confidential information belonging to TrendMints must never be shared publicly or with unauthorized persons.

Report Your Concerns

Any suspected violation of this policy should be reported to Human Resources immediately. No retaliation will be tolerated against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

Plagiarism and Fairness

Plagiarism is not allowed at TrendMints. All content must be original or properly credited. Reporters and writers must ensure fairness by allowing everyone involved in a story the opportunity to respond appropriately.
